La Granica is immersed in nature; fields, woods and vineyards so it is an ideal place
to take a break if you need to pause your busy life or are just a little bit tired or stressed out.
If you are looking for light exercise then trekking around the vineyards and the hills or
cycling around the hilltop villages can be invigorating.
If you want something quieter then there are many places to horse ride or play golf.
For the more adventurous there is always rock climbing and further north mountaineering.
However if you want to relax and be wrapped in the thermal treatments enjoyed by the Romans then
the historic centre of Acqui Terme, about 10 kilometres away, with its thermal spring and spa has been
restoring a sense of well-being to it’s patrons since 2 AD.
